So I'm on the phone with Hewlett Packard, checking on a ticket for a drive that's supposedly been ordered for one of my clients, right?
Guy puts me on hold...
...and what to my wondering ears should appear but Little River Band's Night Owl...
...in Muzak format.

I had a rougher time with the kid at the Safeway the other day calling me "Sir" and "Mr. Blackiswhite" the other day. I kept looking around for my grandfather.

When I stopped getting carded for drinks and smokes a few years back, that was when I got depressed.
It took a further hit when my favorite songs hit the "Classics" station.
The final nail was when my Mom and I decided to compare grey hair and it turned out I had more than she did. Ack!

Folks, I have no problem with the inevitable aging. Ther are several very good things, one of them being that I can get away with things at 51 that would get me in trouble at 21! :)
