And now for something completely different...
...good news!!!
Denizens, if you'll recall, I rejoined the ranks of the gainfully employed back in late November.
Well, that was a temp position. Which got me by until a better paying temp-to-perm position came along in April.
And now, the "perm" part of that equation has been realized. I was notified Thursday that my company has decided that they like my fine work and want me as part of their permanent crew. This'll carry with it a decent-enough raise and some bennies.
Next step: stop spending $$$$ like a modern-day Republican. Maybe if I actually brown-bagged it once in a while...
