Mickey Spillane: 1918 - 2006
Mickey Spillane has passed on. The world-renowned author of the Mike Hammer series was 88.
The Hammer television series back in the 80s was one of my all-time favorites. Lotsa babes, lotsa violence, lotsa babes, lotsa no-nonsense narrative...did I mention there were lotsa babes? 
Rest in peace, Mickey, and many condolences to your family. The world lost a helluva guy today, and he'll be sorely missed.
